Now that I got that dreaded Nursing exam out of the way and am finally a Nurse in the UK, I'm thinking about thinking about weight loss again. Though we are moving in a few weeks and will probably have a lot of chaos around, I'd still like to have a plan in place to at least start adding in good things and limiting the bad things. Right now, food wise, there is no control whatsoever.
I really need to get motivated and get some weight off. I have an issue with the ligaments in my wrist and at the pre-op appointment, they took my weight and told me they couldn't proceed with the surgery. My BMI was 42... I've never had my weight be an issue like this. I cried when they told me. I felt like such a failure! Especially since I had gotten down to 165 lbs (11 st 9) and was in pretty good shape. Well, no one can change this but me.
Step one... Buy a scale
